Who can join the band?

Membership is open to youth of Essex & Union County between the ages of 8 – 25.

Is experience required?

No. While it helps, we provide opportunities in the band for members of all experience levels!

When does the band practice/perform?

The band sustains an active rehearsal schedule throughout the entire year. The 2024 calendar is currently being confirmed and will be posted on the bands web page when finalized.

What are my instrument choices?

Band offers several choices of instruments for you to play.

Woodwind Instruments include:

Flute, Clarinet, Alto & Tenor Saxophone

Brass Instruments include:

Trumpet, Mellophone, Baritone, Trombone and Tuba

Percussion Instruments include:

Snare, Tenor and Bass Drums, Quads and Cymbals

Auxiliary Line includes:

Dancers and Flag Twirlers
