About Us
Essex & Union County Marching Band is a community marching band, founded in 2018. Through hard work and dedication, the band has quickly earned a reputation as a top Marching Band in New Jersey. We have many exhilarating parades and performances planned for the upcoming year and we would love for you to share in our excitement.
Mission
The Essex & Union County Marching Band is dedicated to achieving the highest standard for excellence in musical performance and musical education, while engaging communities, enriching audiences and sustaining history.Â
Vision
Our vision is to engage and enrich individuals of all ages by exploring, experiencing and producing music. Youth particularly will be involved through recruitment of elementary and high school students, as well as, college aged students. In addition to musical education, participants will acquire life skills such as, leadership skills, self-discipline, self-confidence, responsibility and integrity.
Furthermore, we will also encompass artistic excellence in the performance and presentation of marching band music to the communities of Essex County & Union County, in order to foster an appreciation for the art of music.
